Artist Bloc Collective

Since 2006 Artist Bloc has been creating art events, curating exhibitions, and directing films which are focused on the local and international art scene. We are a collective of like-minded individuals who are creating art through a collaborative process. Producing, curating and grant-writing for Artist Bloc have been my main duties.

We have to date we have worked with such artists as Mark Pellegrino, Jon McCurley, filmmaker Lesley Loksi Chan, poet Jordan Scott, musician and illustrator Thomas Del Baso (dd/mm/yyyy), as well as Christine Duncan’s The Element Choir and The Woodchoppers with whom we completed the Bravo!FACT funded short film “Stutter.” We are also have produced the National Film Board of Canada funded interactive site based on Jordan Scott’s poetry entitled – Flub and Utter.

Most recently Artist Bloc curated an installation-based exhibition based on Charles Spearin’s (of Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think) The Happiness Project for POP Montreal and worked with Toronto’s CRUSH, Montreal’s SweetieTruck as well as Kingston, Ontario’s  The Apple Crisp Festival.

We have an acitve blog of collected inspirations, projects and fellow local and international artists which can be found at

Throughout we have been generously funded by the Ontario Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Council. We are based in Toronto, Canada.
